Our Story & Vision
Javaherian Law, APC, is a Southern California law firm devoted exclusively to the defense of employers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured entities in workers’ compensation matters throughout the State of California. The firm is built on three core principles: quality, integrity, and execution.
Uncompromising Quality
We believe exceptional legal representation begins with exceptional work. Every matter is approached with rigor, precision, and strategic depth, with careful attention to the details that shape exposure, influence leverage, and ultimately drive results.
Disciplined Integrity
We approach every representation with unwavering professionalism, transparent honesty, and respect for the trust our clients place in us. We believe integrity also requires responsiveness: being accessible, communicating clearly, and acting promptly, so clients have the clarity and confidence they need at every stage of the case.
Relentless Execution
Strategy has little value without disciplined execution. We move matters forward with purpose, responsiveness, and meticulous follow-through—whether through discovery, motion practice, settlement strategy, or appearances before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
Together, these principles define the firm’s approach to every matter it handles. Javaherian Law, APC understands that clients need more than routine case management; they need trusted counsel who can quickly assess risk, communicate with clarity, develop a sound litigation strategy, and carry it through with consistency and professionalism. Whether a matter requires aggressive defense, focused discovery, strategic settlement, or disciplined long-term case management, the firm is committed to providing representation that is precise, practical, and results-driven.

Founder & Managing Attorney | Javaherian Law, APC
Sina A. Javaherian, Esq. is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Javaherian Law, APC. For over 15 years, Sina has devoted his practice exclusively to the defense of employers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured entities in workers’ compensation matters. Before launching his own practice, he honed his litigation, written advocacy, and client service skills at some of Southern California’s most reputable defense firms. In every case, he advocates for his clients with the focused expertise that only comes from a career devoted to a single discipline.
Over the course of his career, Sina has represented clients through every stage of the workers’ compensation process — from early case evaluation and discovery through depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, trial advocacy, lien resolution and appellate advocacy. He has tried countless cases before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, securing numerous “take-nothing” decisions, effectively cross-examined hundreds of medical-legal experts and meticulously taken over one thousand applicant depositions. He has successfully defended clients in a wide range of matters: from straightforward claims to complex, high-exposure cases, always with a focus on protecting the client’s interests, mitigating exposure, and expeditiously moving cases toward efficient and favorable resolution.
Through years of practice before WCAB district offices throughout Southern California, he developed a reputation for being thorough, strategic, highly responsive, and relentlessly prepared. His approach is grounded in the belief that effective workers’ compensation defense requires not only technical legal skill, but also sound judgment, practical thinking, and a clear understanding of each client’s business objectives.
Clients know Sina as an attorney who is not only deeply prepared and strategically sound, but genuinely accessible. He believes that responsive, proactive communication — keeping adjusters and clients informed, returning calls and emails promptly, and anticipating issues before they become problems — is as much a part of the job as the litigation itself. At Javaherian Law, APC, client service is not an afterthought; it is built into how the firm operates.
Education & Background
Sina’s legal and academic background reflects the same discipline and commitment to excellence that define his practice. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, earning a Bachelor of Science in International Relations. During his undergraduate studies, he also studied abroad in Costa Rica and Cuba, experiences that broadened his perspective and deepened his interest in public affairs and advocacy.
He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association, contributed to the International Law Journal, distinguished himself in the International Moot Arbitration Competition in Hong Kong and studied Comparative Constitutional Law in Spain.
Concurrently with his law degree, Sina earned a Master of International Public Affairs from the Robert M. La Follette School of Public Affairs—further strengthening his statistical, analytical, and policy-oriented foundation, which he continues to leverage in evaluating evidence, assessing risk, and shaping practical litigation strategy.
Before entering private practice, Sina served as a Federal Judicial Law Clerk to a United States Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. That experience sharpened his legal writing, analysis, and attention to detail, and it continues to influence the disciplined and thoughtful manner in which he approaches litigation today.
As the founder of Javaherian Law, APC, Mr. Javaherian brings together the benefit of substantial defense experience, strong academic credentials, and a client-centered philosophy of practice. He is committed to helping employers, carriers, and administrators navigate the demands of California workers’ compensation litigation with confidence, clarity, and trusted counsel.
